Loula's Taverna on Vancouver's Commerical Drive has bathrooms themed after famous Greek actors John Stamos and Jennifer Aniston. Stamos shared fan photos from the quirky washroom on his Instagram this week

When Loula's Taverna opened up in 2021, it wasn't just the Commercial Drive restaurant's Greek vacation vibes, cocktails, or tantalizing menu that was catching buzz, it was also their bathrooms, each decked out as tributes to two famous TV stars.

One choice of washroom is Jennifer Aniston-themed, the other, John Stamos.

Why, you may wonder? Both stars are Greek!

Stamos' Greek heritage was worked into the storyline of Full House, including his character Jesse's full name, Hermes Katsopolis, and frequent references to his Greek background and relatives.

Meanwhile back on social media: "I guess this is why it's called 'the John,'" jokes actor John Stamos his caption for a post he shared to his Instagram Wednesday (Aug 2) showing several slides of pics of people posing in the Loula's bathroom wallpapered with photos of the star.

"Check out Loula's Taverna in Vancouver. It’s the perfect bathroom to read my book. Thanks for all the love!" added Stamos. The actor is referring to his new release, If You Would Have Told Me: A Memoir, incidentally.

The comments were full of fans - and real-life friends - making jokes and showing approval for the unusual bathroom tribute.

"Big deal, My entire bedroom was wallpapered with you in 1985," joked one fan.

"That’s actually the best thing I’ve ever seen," commented another admirer.

One of Stamos' longtime co-stars, actress Candace Cameron Bure (who often films in Vancouver) joked in the comments section: "So, will you be looking at me while I pee?!!! 😳"

And of course, the Loula's folks took notice: "Dreams do come true people."

If you want to see the John Stamos bathroom yourself, book a table at Loula's. Go for the washrooms, stay for the drinks, food, and lots of fun.
