There's a new gelato shop now scooping along West 4th Avenue in Kitsilano, just in time for prime cold treat season in the city.
Tutto Belle il Gelato recently opened its doors at 2151 W 4th Ave, replacing Pacific Poke at the address.
The shop has a modern, minimalistic aesthetic, with pops of bright red and geometric shapes.
The house-made gelato combines "Italian gelato recipes" with "Canadian local ingredients."
To that end, now scooping are flavours like Uji Matcha, Mango and Passionfruit, and Tiramisu. The menu includes a couple of vegan options as well as some items that contain gluten, such as the Cinnamon Apple Pie (complete with chunks of pie crust).
Tutto Belle has house-made waffle cones as well as cups, and you can get multiple flavours as one "scoop."
There is a bit of seating inside the storefront, and, for a bit of extra fun, you can cast your vote at the gelato bar for Tutto's next sorbet creations by dropping a bead in the cup with your pick from options like Pink Guava or Italian Blood Orange.
Tutto Belle il Gelato is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
