A new Korean Fired Chicken spot is opening soon in Vancouver.

A new family owned and operated Korean fried chicken restaurant is opening in a small East Vancouver location.

Located at 4290 Fraser St., Sparky Chicken is "coming soon" according to a sign on the storefront, which used to be a money lending service.

"Sparky Chicken is excited to announce that we will be opening in Spring of 2024!" reads a post on the new friend chicken shop's Instagram.

A more precise date has not been revealed.

On Spark Chicken's website they note the new restaurant is inspired by the Bible.

"We started our business in 2023 with one vision: to spread and share His glory and love," write the owners, along with a quote from the New Testament.

The menu currently online shows a variety of chicken options, including original, spicy, sprinkled with cheese and a house made green pepper sauce. Pickled radishes are also a significant part of the menu.

Once open, the site lists Sparky Chicken's hours as 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Friday, with it staying open an extra hour (until 11 p.m.) on Saturday.
