Build-your-own pizza restaurant from Toronto adding second Vancouver location

Customize your pizza or salad here with unlimited toppings.

A Toronto-based "build-your-own" pizza chain is doubling down on its Vancouver presence with the addition of a second restaurant location in the city.

Pi Co, which launched its first Vancouver location on Granville Street in downtown this spring, will be opening up at 514 W Broadway. The Pi Co location is situated on the ground floor of the new build on the south-west corner of Broadway and Cambie, which is already home to a re-launched Starbucks and will have the city's second Jollibee restaurant as well.

Known for its made-to-order Neapolitan-style pies, Pi Co has had a slice of the Ontario quick-serve pizza market since 2016.

Customers can order up build-your-own "Craft Yours" pizzas, starting with the crust (regular or gluten-free) and cheese (plant-based cheese is available) and sauce. Customize your pie with unlimited toppings, though Pi Co recommends selecting four to six. If you're too indecisive, Pi Co does have a few basic pizzas, like a Margherita or a few other house-created combo options available to choose from.

As a sweet bonus, Pi Co also offers build-your-own dessert pizza, the Sweet Pi, with options like Nutella or chocolate bar-type ingredients, fruit, and sauces.

Pi Co has made-to-order salads, and other small bites on the savoury and sweet sides of the menu.

No timeline has been shared yet for the West Broadway opening, and it's not even on the Pi Co website yet.
