New sushi restaurant replaces sushi restaurant in downtown Vancouver

From sushi to...sushi

A tiny sushi restaurant has closed and been replaced by a new and different tiny sushi restaurant.

Downtown Vancouver's Sushi Maki quietly closed recently, according to city records, and it's been replaced by the similarly-named Sushi Today.

Sushi Today launched earlier this spring with much the same menu as the previous tenants at 989 Hornby St. but under different ownership.

The current restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, serving up sushi classics along with special rolls like the "Washington Roll," the "Tiger Roll" and the "Cheese-Chick Roll."
