A Yaletown bakeshop with the slogan "defined by croissants" is adding a second (buttery, flaky) layer to its operations: Another location in the Metro Vancouver region.

Angus T announced earlier this year plans to move into a location on the North Shore. The bakery is taking over the space previously occupied by longtime tenant Faubourg, another Vancouver-based treat spot and cafe, at Park Royal in West Vancouver.

Faubourg vacated its Park Royal location some time ago. Angus T will take over the corner space that's situated across the way from the White Spot and next door to Zubu, the ramen restaurant that launched last summer.

Priding themselves on a line-up of handmade baked goods using local and imported ingredients made in using traditional methods, Angus T is beloved for its croissants, from a classic butter version to sweet and savoury flavours like ham and gruyere or pistachio raspberry, among others.

A specific date for Angus T opening has not been set; however, the bakery has indicated they hope to open the doors at Park Royal this summer.
