Tea Drop Cafe on Howe St. specializing in coffee and bubble tea is closing at the end of July.

A quaint coffee and bubble tea shop on Howe St. is calling it quits only months after opening.

Tea Drop Cafe opened in early January this year but announced earlier this week that it would be closing on July 30.

"We are sad to announce that we will be closing our store at the end of the month," the cafe announced in an Instagram post.

They don't give a reason for the quick closure but say that they are working to bring catering services to pop-up locations, festivals, farmers' markets, and events so that fans don't need to say goodbye to the bubble tea for good, just the brick-and-mortar.

"We would like to thank all of our customers for the continued support and giving us the opportunity to serve you," reads the post, inviting people to come and enjoy a bubble tea before they close.

Tea Drop adds it will still serve its Bubble Tea Passport special previously announced as part of the first-ever summertime DIY drink event.
