You have from now until election day--which is October 20--to try them all and vote.

While the incentive for voting in the election is the democratic opportunity to have your say in how your city is run (and that's pretty priceless, to be fair), the Coffee Competition does have the dangling carrot of gift cards to the participating cafes to tempt you to cast your ballot.

Here is who is participating, and their unique Vancouver-inspired coffee creation:

  • Catfe: The Vanmewver

A double shot of Moja espresso and steamed whole milk, infused with lavender and house-made cocoa syrup. Each drink is purrsonalized with a cat design: every cat is unique, so it is important to stop and pet every one.

  • Grounds for Coffee: Lazy Sunday (Cinnamon Oat-milk Mocha)

Vancouverites need comfort in the fall. Try decadent chocolate melted under fresh espresso, blended with snappy cinnamon and comforting oat milk.

  • Kranky Cafe: Vancouver Fog

Kranky Cafe is introducing the Vancouver Fog: steeped Earl Grey tea, infused lavender honey, a shot of espresso and steamed milk.

  • Platform 7 (East Van): Iced Raspberry Con Panna

Hide away in our Secret Garden indulging in a chilled Stumptown Signature Espresso with raspberry-infused whipped cream.

  • Platform 7 (Kitsilano): Spanish Banks Bombón

Toast one of Vancouver's hottest beaches with this dessert-like beverage combining Stumptown Espresso and condensed milk.

  • Prado Café: Okanagan Valley peaches and cream cappuccino (iced)

In the rainy fall, get a touch of summer sunshine with our peaches and cream cappuccino.

  • Spade: Okanagan cherry chocolate mocha

Vancouver loves to eat local. Try our chocolate and coffee with a touch of gorgeous BC cherries.

  • The Drive Coffee Bar: Raspberry Flat White with Mint leaves

A beautiful, smooth and balanced drink to make you feel warm and cozy in those cold and rainy October days.
