The dessert shop has been popular since it opened its first B.C. location in Richmond last year and has been known for its creative cakes and treats.

It offers multiple desserts for this Lunar New Year, including its Lunar Celebration Pig, Longevity Noodles and Lucky Citrus cakes. And smaller groups have the options of the smaller Lucky Mandarin cake and Lunar Mac Set.

This award-winning chocolate and dessert business in Richmond is offering Lunar New Year cakes again this year.

Wild Sweets’ cakes use chocolate that is made directly from cocoa beans at their Richmond location and some of their Lunar New Year items have already been sold out.

In addition to its traditional money envelope cake with a dragon theme, it also offers the Lunar New Year Lantern Cake and the East Meets West Cake.

L’otus also offers two designer desserts this year with a Lunar New Year theme.

This includes a cake with gold coins and the Chinese character “Fu,” which means “blessings” in English, on the top, representing good fortune and luck in the new year.

It also offers the Lunar New Year Mousse Set, a collection of small desserts in the shape of oranges, lanterns, fish, dragons and Mahjong, to add joy to people’s celebrations.
