Is the way to your love's heart through their stomach? Is their love language edible? Say "I love you" with fried chicken - or its plant-based swap - instead, thanks to a set of sibling Vancouver restaurants tying a ribbon around one of their signature menu items.

Back again for another Valentine's Day, Juke Fried Chicken is offering its "Let's Cluck!" fried chicken bouquet. Move over roses: These bouquets feature eight juicy, crispy, seasoned pieces of Juke's fried chicken in decorative wrap. Priced at $29, this once-a-year special is available for pre-order via Juke's website; pick up at the Chinatown restaurant on Feb. 14.

As a delightful alternative, Juke's sibling spot, the fully plant-based Beetbox, is getting in on the action by offering its own V-Day bouquet, but here, the "V" stands for vegan. Beetbox's Fried Chick-Un Finger Bouquet includes a dozen of the casual resto's popular Fried Chick-Un Fingers (breaded and fried seitan) accompanied with housemade Maple Mustard Dip packaged in decorative Valentine’s Day wrap. Ringing up at $24, you can woo your meat-free boo by placing an order online, and picking it up from Beetbox on Feb. 14.
