Need a good scare this Halloween? Starbucks is hoping to lure in fans with their latest treat, a spooky concoction called the Zombie Frappuccino.
Following in the more cheerful footsteps of their Instagram sensation Unicorn Frappuccino, the Zombie Frappuccino is a coffee-free blend up of tart apple and caramel Frappucino Créme, topped with pink-hued whipped cream "brains" and a bloody red mocha drizzle.
Vancouverites may feel like Starbucks is the continually re-animating, haunting, scariest place for coffee lovers, but you gotta hand it to them, they go big with their limited edition novelty Frappuccinos.
The Zombie drink is meant to evoke those seasonal pleasers, caramel-dipped apples, and, of course, the hungry undead.
This isn't the first time Starbucks has whipped up a Halloween-themed Frapp; in the past they've done a "Franken Frappuccino" and its cousin, the "Frappula Frappuccino."
With themed holiday drinks and eats super trendy right now, Starbucks is among the many food and bev retailers opting to dress up their menu for Halloween.
The Zombie Frappuccino is available October 26 through 31 in participating stores in the United States and Canada, while supplies last. (And if your favourite store runs out, please don't eat the barista.)
