Rangoli Next door to its internationally renowned sister restaurant Vij’s, Rangoli is not your typical Indian restaurant; each meal celebrates the flavour of different Indian spices and local ingredients.

Located on Davie street and open from 11AM until 3AM, this window is essentially the backdoor for the larger, sit down, Chinese restaurant that is in the same building that faces out onto Granville street.

We got down to BC Place for the Eat! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival on Saturday. It was packed with lots of folks looking for samples of food and wine/beer and many other things. For $10 we got a sheet of tasting tickets and went at it.

One of the things I hate the most of going to the dentist is not them picking away at my teeth, or the fact I always think the flouride is actually going to taste like bubblegum (it will one day!), it's listening to my dentist....

A couple days ago I exposed the Oakridge Theatre , today it's the IGA at Main between 13th and 14th street. They're selling tubs of Breyer's Ice Cream that's regular $7.69 for $2.

While I try to keep with the VIA mantra of 'if it's not rainbows and teddy bears, it's not going up...' ie no politics, when someone throws in hamburgers to the mix, I just can't pass it up...
