Hot, hot, Hot: It is going to feel like 29 degrees in Vancouver tomorrow

The Vancouver weather forecast calls for plenty of sunshine this weekend as well as some toasty daily highs.

Starting on Wednesday, June 24, Environment Canada calls for a few showers and a high of 21°C with a low of 14°C overnight. After this, Thursday is expected to be mainly sunny with a high of 22°C near the water and 26°C inland. However, the forecast notes that temperatures will feel like 26°C and 29°C with humidity. 

Friday's forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 24°C with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a low of 16°C overnight. Saturday is also expected to see a mix of sun and cloud during the day with a 60 per cent chance of showers overnight. Sunday is expected to be mainly sunny with a high of 22°C.

Monday and Tuesday are expected to see a mix of sun and cloud with daily highs of 22°C.

The Weather Network has released its official 2020 summer forecast for Canada, which covers the next three months of weather across the country.

The company highlights an "abundance of warm weather across most of Canada," after many Canadians saw record-breaking temperatures during the month of May. However, the summer months are not expected to include "relentless heat" for most of the country.
