Friday, November 4 from noon to 1 p.m., hundreds of B.C. nurses are taking part in a demonstration that marches from the Hyatt Regency Hotel to the Vancouver Art Gallery.
The group will be escorted by VPD south along Burrard Street, east on Robson Street, north on Hornby Street, and ending in the north plaza at the VAG.
The public are advised to expect traffic disruptions and delays in the area today.
The BC Nurses Union are protesting the impact staffing shortages are having on emergency rooms and patient care. A recent news release reports that they hope the rally will "sound the alarm" about the ongoing healthcare crisis.
