Authorities are reporting the discovery of a man's body near the UBC campus.
Univesity RCMP says they were notified that the body had been found on July 15 in a wooded area off SW Marine Drive, and Wesbrook Mall in the University Endowment Lands.
Police located the body of the deceased male, and the BC Coroners Service is working alongside the University RCMP to determine the cause and circumstances of death.
Given the decomposed nature of the remains, police assure the general public is not at any risk.
