Photos: This $700 downtown Vancouver rental is essentially a closet

The tiny room is cheap and downtown, but also very small.

Seeking a place to live in downtown Vancouver?

A pair of students are looking for a third person to share their home downtown, but the new roommate will have to be ok with tight spaces.

The tiny room is being offered for rent on Craigslist for $700 per month; it's essentially a large closet with a bed in it.

In the small space, there's enough room for a twin bed and some shelves and that's about it. While there is a door, it doesn't look like it can be closed as the bed is in the way. A privacy curtain has been hung.

The ad notes there's a dresser included, but the photos appear to show the whole room with no space for a dresser.

"We are looking for a quiet, working roommate or student that would like to rent the space," state the roommates in the ad. "It is ideal for students looking for a nice clean luxury suite."

The suite includes a washer and dryer, and the building has a pool and hot tub, they add.

The tiny room is located in Yaletown, and the ad notes the location is a big positive with transit and restaurants nearby.
