A driver is facing almost $500 in fines and a week without his car after police clocked his 2014 Ford Fiesta going 135 km/h in a 50 zone.
The 48-year-old Maple Ridge man was pulled over at around 8:50 p.m. Monday by Vancouver police traffic officers on McGill Street near Commissioner.
The car was impounded for seven days and the driver was issued a $483 ticket.
