Looking forward to hitting the beach this weekend?
While the city isn't expected to see another unprecedented heat wave, the Vancouver weather forecast calls for some sizzling daily highs in the coming days.
Starting on Thursday (July 8), Environment Canada calls for mainly cloudy skies with a high of 23°C. However, temperatures will feel more like 27°C with humidity.
Skies are expected to clear somewhat Friday with temperatures creeping up to 24°C on the coast and 27°C inland. With humidity, these temperatures will feel more like 28°C and 30°C inland.
Saturday's forecast calls for clear skies and a high of 24°C on the coast and 28°C inland. Similarly, Sunday is also expected to see clear skies and a high of 24°C on the coast with a slightly cooler inland high of 27°C inland.
Heading out of the weekend, inland temperatures are expected to climb up to 29°C.

While you might have to be prepared for more sweltering humidity, it isn't likely that B.C. will see the same scorching daily highs that it did during the heat wave at the end of June.
"That kinda thing is a once-in-a-lifetime event," Environment Canada meteorologist Doug Lundquist told Vancouver Is Awesome.
"Let's hope that doesn't happen [again] for decades."
