If it was too hot for you in the city this week, you're not alone.

In fact, B.C. smashed a whopping 15 weather records on Wednesday (June 2) and Vancouver temperatures felt over 31 C inland with humidity. However, temperatures look decidedly cooler this weekend.

Heading into the weekend, the Vancouver weather forecast calls for evening showers and a daily high of 19 C with a low of 11 C on Friday. Saturday may also see some showers during the day, while the evening is expected to be cloudy but dry.

On Sunday, the forecast calls for a 60 per cent chance of showers throughout the day with a high of 15 C and a low of 9 C overnight. To kick things off next week, Monday's forecast also calls for a chance of showers during the day with clearing skies overnight.

The sun is expected to return Tuesday and continue through the week.
