Major delays on Lions Gate Bridge after police incident

Drivers should expect delays.

Drive BC is advising drivers of delays and congestion in both directions on the Lions gate Bridge after a police incident. 

The police incident had closed the Lions Gate Bridge in both directions on Friday, Dec. 20 after 3 p.m. Consequently, Drive BC advised drivers to consider alternate routes due to the closure.

The bridge is now open in both directions, but delays are expected.
