Man charged following string of Vancouver arsons

Four fires were set in the downtown core earlier this week.

A man has been charged for allegedly setting four fires in one night in Vancouver.

Four fires were allegedly deliberately lit in the downtown core overnight between March 27 and 28 and Vancouver Police say they believe the same suspect was responsible for all of them.

According to the VPD, Curtis Rabochenko, 51, has been charged with four counts of arson causing damage to property in connection with the incidents.

He has been remanded until his next court appearance.
