Memorial planned for Port Coquitlam family killed in Tehran crash

The ceremony is open to anyone wanting to listen to stories and pay respects to the life of the family and all other passengers of Ukrainian International Airlines Flight 752.

Family and friends of a Port Coquitlam family killed aboard a Ukrainian International Airlines flight that crashed on the outskirts of Tehran, Iran, Tuesday, are holding a celebration to honour them. 

Organized by the Tri-City Iranian Cultural Society, the ceremony is open to anyone wanting to listen to stories and pay respects to the life of the family and all other passengers of Ukrainian International Airlines Flight 752.

It will be held Sunday, Jan. 12 from 3 to 6 p.m. in the second-floor party room at 1185 High Street, Coquitlam.
