Monday morning may start with a bang in Vancouver.
Environment Canada says there's a "risk of thunderstorms" the morning of April 25.
Today, Sunday April 24, will see clouds roll in throughout the day with afternoon showers giving way to rain overnight, according to the federal agency.
Early in the morning, around 6 a.m., the chance for thunderstorms starts. By 9 a.m. the chance of thunder and lighting decreases, but the rain and showers are expected to continue into the afternoon.
While the thunderstorm and precipitation are expected to taper off, wind will ramp up a bit by the end of the day, with a 20 km/h in the evening.
