August will be filled with summer fun every weekend– in fact, two blocks of it!
Starting next weekend on August 6, the Granville Promenade will be shutting down two blocks of Granville Street from Smithe to Helmcken streets every Saturday and Sunday of the month.
The free street party takes over from 1-7 p.m. with live music, street entertainment, patios, art, and markets.
Weekend commuters may want to keep an eye out for the festivities and join in or steer clear.
