Vancouver police announced late Wednesday that a senior missing from his care home since Saturday has been safely located.
Vancouver resident Lawrence Hordy, who lives with dementia, had been last seen leaving the facility near West 1st Avenue and Columbia Street at around 2 p.m. on Aug. 29.
Police said his disappearance was "out of character" for the senior who is known to go for walks whilst pushing a shopping cart.
