The rain that has dampened Vancouver this week will soon take a backseat in the next few days to nearly a week’s worth of sunshine.
That’s according to Environment Canada, which has forecasted sunshine will return to the city Sunday and continue until Thursday, with a high reaching 24 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
Though before the sun arrives, rain is likely to continue to fall Friday and Saturday.
According to the weather agency: “Rain at times heavy, ending this morning then mainly cloudy with 60 per cent chance of showers.”
On Saturday, a 60 per cent chance of showers will turn into a mix of sun and cloud before making way for five days of forecasted sunshine.
