A Subway sandwich shop was robbed twice last month by the same person and the Coquitlam RCMP are looking for the public’s help to identify the suspect.
The first incident occurred at the Austin Station location on March 6, shortly before 6 p.m., when a man allegedly brandished a knife before jumping over the counter and stealing money from the register. The second theft took place on March 14, eight-days later, again with the suspect jumping the counter.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately six-feet tall with a slim build. He is 20 to 30-years-old and was wearing a black hoodie and grey sweatpants at the time of the robberies.
Anyone who recognizes the man in the surveillance images is asked to call the Coquitlam RCMP non-emergency line at 604-945-1550 and ask for the Robbery Section (file number 2020-6299). Those who wish to remain anonymous can do so by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or going to their website at solvecrime.ca.
