Did you drive or ride through the park this summer?

The city is looking for feedback on cycling through Vancouver's Stanley Park.

Did you like the changes made to Stanley Park's bike lanes this past summer?

No matter your response, the city is looking for feedback on the issue. They have a five-minute survey available online until Sunday, Oct. 24 where people can share their thoughts.

Among the updates to the 2021 edition were physical separation between bikes and vehicles in some places where they shared the roadway, realignment for better vehicle access to some areas (like Prospect Point, Third Beach, and Ferguson Point), and allowing cyclists to continue to access the seawall for slower riders.

The city is looking to better understand people's experiences using the realigned roadways.

In 2020, Vancouver's parks board began to look at reducing traffic in Stanley Park as a way to reduce pollution. Later that year staff closed some roadways to vehicle traffic to study the resulting patterns.

This year changes were installed over a longer term to see how people adjusted.
