**Update: The medical emergency at Braid Station has cleared and normal service is resuming.**

A medical emergency has disrupted SkyTrain service at a major Metro Vancouver station.

TransLink reports that Braid Station is closed until further notice and there is no service between Sapperton and Lougheed Stations. As a result, Expo Line Trains are turning back at Sapperton Station.

A temporary bus bridge will be used to transport customers between Sapperton and Lougheed. Customers intending to use Expo Line to travel to Production Way will have to board the Millennium Line at Lougheed.

Canada and Millennium Lines are unaffected, and are running normally.

Additional security and Transit Police are at the stations to ensure passenger safety and crowd control Riders seeking alternative routes to SkyTrain are encouraged to consult our Trip Planner online, and select "Don't Use SkyTrain" under advanced search settings, or contact our customer information desk (604-953-3333) for trip planning advice.
