Two women have reported being sexually assaulted by a massage practitioner at two different locations of a massage business.

A 46-year-old man is facing two counts of sexual assault after incidents at two massage locations in East Vancouver earlier this year.

Two women reported being sexually assaulted in early February at two different Happy Feet Massage locations, according to the Vancouver Police Department(VPD). One incident happened on Feb. 5 and the other on Feb. 6.

The massage company's owners cooperated with police and Jun Dong Gao was arrested on Feb. 10.

"(The) BC Prosecution Service has approved two counts of sexual assault against Gao, who is also known as James, or Jim," police say in a press release.

Gao is currently out on bail. Conditions of the bail include no practicing massage or any other service where he'd physically touch a client.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call the VPD's sex crimes unit at 1-604-717-0603.
