Firefighters were called to Strathcona Park in Vancouver late Friday afternoon after they received a report of a fire.

Dave Pasin took to Twitter just after 4 p.m. Friday (March 26) to state that "several propane tanks exploded" in the Strathcona Park encampment.

Following his initial post, Pasin adds that an ambulance was "responding to [a] serious health issue."

Vancouver Fire and Rescue Assistant Chief Dan Stroup tells Vancouver Is Awesome that crew arrived at the scene just after 4 p.m. to find a fully "engulfed tent and a partial tree on fire." However, he says the crew worked quickly and there were no injuries.

The fire is currently under investigation.
