The Metro Vancouver weather forecast calls for some decidedly mild temperatures heading into the week commencing Monday, April 13.

Environment Canada calls for bright sunshine and a mild high of 14°C on Monday. However, it notes that temperatures will rise to 18°C inland. Following this, temperatures are expected to drop down to a low of 5°C overnight.

Tuesday is expected to be mainly sunny with a high of 13°C except 16°C inland. Overnight temperatures are expected to dip down to 5°C.  On Wednesday, Environment Canada calls for sunshine and a high of 15°C, except for a very pleasant high of 20°C inland. Thursday's forecast also calls for a toasty 20°C inland high, but a slightly milder high of 16°C near the water.

On Friday, Vancouver is expected to see a mix of sun and cloud with a high if 15°C except 20°C inland. What's more, the overnight low is only expected to dip down to 8°C, which offers a break for the cool nighttime temperatures of late.

Saturday's forecast also calls for the slightly milder low of 8°C overnight.
