A 51-year-old man is dead after a collision in Vancouver's West End.
Just after midnight on Nov. 16 there was a collision between two vehicles at Davie and Thurlow streets. A Toyota Prius and a Dodge Ram collided and the pickup truck skidded off the road onto the sidewalk, according to a police press release.
A wheelchair-bound man on the sidewalk was hit by the truck; he later died. He's the 10th pedestrian fatality in Vancouver this year say the police.
Officers are investigating the cause of the accident still and trying to figure out if impairment was a factor.
