UPDATE: Vancouver Police have located Meeyon “Mary” Lowe safe and well.  Ms.  Lowe was taken to hospital to be medically assessed.

Vancouver police appealed to the public for help locating an 83-year-old woman with dementia who went missing Saturday morning.

According to the VPD, Meeyon “Mary” Lowe left her residence near 45th Avenue and Knight Street the morning of July 18.

In a release, police said Lowe suffers from both dementia and seizures and requires her necessary medication, adding that Lowe's family is "deeply concerned for her well-being."

Lowe did not take her cane when she left home and reportedly struggles with walking longer distances.
