Stormy weather: Vancouver forecast calls for risk thunderstorms today

The weekend forecast calls for some sizzling daytime temperatures, with both Saturday and Sunday's forecast calling for highs of 22°C and 27°C inland.

While the Lower Mainland saw some sunny breaks yesterday, today's Metro Vancouver forecast calls for a mix of showers and a risk of thunderstorms. 

Starting on Wednesday, May 5, Enviornment Canada calls for rain and a mix of sun and cloud during the day with a high of 15°C. In addition, it also calls for a risk of thunderstorms during the day. However, the evening is expected to be clear and cool, with a low of 5°C.

Following this, Thursday's forecast calls for bright sunshine and a high of 22°C except 21°C inland. Similarly, Friday is also expected to be clear and sunny, but the daytime high is expected to soar to 21°C and 26°C inland.

Monday's forecat calls for a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 21°C, with a 60 percent chance of showers at night.
