Burnaby RCMP are on the hunt for a suspect believed to be responsible for a series of thefts involving poppy donation boxes.
RCMP tweeted out photos and a video (see) of the suspect in the thefts.
“We have received three reporters from three separate businesses in the Kensington and Hastings area,” reads a tweet on Sunday. “The suspect in these photos is believed to be responsible for all three.”
The theft in the video shows a man stealing a poppy donation box from the front counter of the Kensington White Spot restaurant. Funds raised from poppy boxes help provide valuable services to military veterans
If you recognize the suspect, you are asked to call Burnaby RCMP and quote file 21-39894.
