Vancouver police are investigating a fatal collision that killed an 86-year-old pedestrian last week.
The victim was walking in the south lane of East 2nd Avenue from Commercial Drive around 7:15 a.m. on Nov. 1 when she was struck by the driver of a Cadillac Escalade. The driver, a 49-year-old man, remained on scene.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital where she died from her injuries.
Vancouver police are asking anyone who saw the collision or has dash cam footage or information about the incident to call VPD’s Collision Investigation Unit at 604-717-3012.
