Police seek witnesses to serious collision in south Vancouver

Three people were taken to the hospital after the serious collision in south Vancouver.

Police are seeking witnesses to a late-April crash that sent three people to the hospital.

The incident happened on April 27 around 9 p.m. in a busy intersection. according to the Vancouver Police Department

"As the driver of a Toyota Matrix was making a left turn on East 57th Avenue from Fraser Street, he was struck by the driver of a Honda CR-V that was travelling south on Fraser Street," the police said in a press release.

The crash sent three people to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. They have been released and are now recovering at home.

It's believed speed was the main factor. An investigation into the collision is ongoing and police are looking for witnesses or dashcam footage of the collision.
