A 65-year-old senior was found dead inside a Gastown rooming house over the weekend.
Vancouver police are investigating the murder of Cameron Fairful, whose body was discovered inside his apartment at a single-room-occupancy building near Abbott and Water streets on Nov. 27.
Sgt. Steve Addison tells Vancouver Is Awesome that the murder took place at 210 Abbott Street which is home to the Dominion Hotel.
Vancouver Police Department (VPD) homicide investigators believe the victim was targeted. No charges have been laid so far.
VPD is asking anyone with information to call its Homicide Unit at 604-717-2500.
