Police are looking for witnesses to a crash that happened Nov. 25, 2022 in Vancouver.

Police are hoping someone had dash cam footage or saw what happened when a car struck a pole in East Vancouver over the weekend.

The single-vehicle accident happened Friday, Nov. 25 when a driver lost control of a 2002 Buick Century on the Cordova Diversion (near where it joins Powell Street) and ran into a pole, according to the Vancouver Police Department (VPD).

"Three passengers, all in their 30s, suffered a number of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, including broken bones and broken teeth," state police.

The driver was a 35-year-old Vancouver man. Police believe alcohol and speed were factors in the crash. The driver was arrested at the scene.

The VPD's collision investigation unit is looking into the crash and asking anyone who saw the sedan before it crashed to call them at 1-604-717-3012. Dash-cam footage is also being sought.
