What should the new ride at the PNE be called? They're asking for the public to name it

Rolly McRollercoasterface probably isn't going to cut it...

The new Lightning roller coaster at the PNE needs a name.

What 'it' is is already known, but what to call 'it' isn't.

It's going to be Canada's fastest electric launch coaster, accelerating people to 72 km/h over less than 400 m of track, but that's not a name, so the PNE is asking the public to help name their epic new ride, which arrives in 2024.

"Playland is looking for help to name the new Launch Coaster — because 'the new Launch Coaster' just isn't going to work as a name," writes the PNE/Playland on Facebook.

The ride has been designed, it's being built, and the specs are all set. The colours have even been determined (a yellow track with a magenta structure and black cars). But what does it all come together as?

Whoever names the ride will get two season passes to Playland and an invitation to the coaster launch celebration. And everyone who submits a name will be entered into a contest to attend the launch party.

Names have to be submitted by March 12 on the official site.

For inspiration, here are a couple videos about the incoming roller coaster.
