I know this might be a few days too late but the next time you feel like you're melting you might want to find your way up to Mount Seymour Park where it seriously feels like it's 10 degrees cooler than it is in the city on any given day. Obviously in the winter there's more snow than there is down here and I don't know why it took me 7 days to form the logic of it being a similar deal in the summer, but oh well. I outlined a little spot in this photo where you might want to put a picnic blanket down.
Aside from cool places to sit and look at the view, there's also hiking trails and all kinds of other summertime stuff going on up there. Info HERE.
