As awesome as this City is, sometimes you just gotta get out of it and get back to nature Canadian style ! While there are dozens of choices that are on the map, there's even more that are off it. All it takes usually is asking the pimpley kid at the gas station to tell you where the sweet swim spots are or having some kind of passed on knowlege. This is about my favorite place about an hour outside Vancouver which I affectionately call "epic spot".

This place is pretty remote. Its up in them thar hills past Mission along a bumpy ass logging road. The ride is rough and dusty and could easily mess up your car. (we rented a mini van). And watch out for stray bullets!
But once you get there, its like an oasis! Sunny all day, crystal clear water, diving pools to be found all the way up the creek and to top it off - a 45 ft waterfall jump if you are feeling brave or drunk or stupid :^)

There's often others there, but its never too crowded as there's so much room to set up camp, make a river fed beer cooler and laze the day away.
What's funny is that the most common question up there is always "how did you find this place?". Its like a not so closely guarded secret. So although I haven't told you exactly how to get there, I've given you the tools to find it if you must...
