There’s more to the Burnaby Mountain viewpoint than just smelling the rose garden, tobogganing, or parking for a steamy-hot make-out session (wink).
Some thrill-seekers are using it as a launch pad for high-flying excitement.
That’s what’s been happening on some clear weekends. Check out the video below to watch someone race down the hill and then take off for some paragliding.
Paragliding is when you sit in a harness with a fabric wing and, well, I don’t think I’ll be doing this anytime soon, but it looks exciting.
The other folks using the park on Saturday seemed to be enjoying watching it as well.
