Renée and I decided to get out in the amazing weather on Saturday to soak up some D vitamin and find out where some of our drinking water comes from. So over to Capilano River Park we went. Where we started at. Kind of a nice view.

There's this great little shop on Granville Island that has work from a bunch of different artisans that I try to check out every time I'm there, and last weekend I was so glad I did because I came across these: These carved fish crafted by Ed Brown

The entire thing isn't technically in Vancouver/the Lower Mainland but coming up on the Olympics the Sea To Sky Highway has gotten (and is continuing to get) a facelift and some more lanes making it perhaps not the most treacherous road in BC anymore
