I told you about Grouse Mountain's wind turbine a little while back. Remember that ? Well, every day as I drive to the V.I.A. office, after I pass Ken Lum's East Van cross I look up at the mountain to see if that windmill is turning yet.

With all the visitors due to arrive soon, there are many new and free things to check out. One that just opened the other day is The Northern House . It's a temporary pavilion to show the world a bit of life in the far north. Go take a look: 602 W.

I finally got a chance to check out the Woodward's building....to my surpise, the London Drugs...was a London Drugs...the Nestor's...was a Nestor's. But what is up with the basketball hoops.
