Over the past couple of months since I started this feature I've been posting photos from the Village on False Creek (the Olympic Village!) onto Instagram (I'm @VIAwesome on there, look for me) and it's become something that's caught on with neighbours and friends and lots of other folks who come down here and shoot photos and Instagram em. We've got 600 or photos if you search that hashtag and I figured we'd make things a little bit more interesting and invite you all to tag your pics, and have a chance to win some gift cards provided by some of the retailers down here! The details are below...
Also, there's nothing in the rules saying you can't go back into your Instagram account's archive and add the #inthevillage hashtag to your shots you've posted from down here in the past. Like, perhaps that one you posted of the shipwrecked sailboat? Or the giant birds? Dragon boats? Your dog? Anything goes!
