When Vancouver was founded, horses were the main mode of overland transportation around the region.
That's not true anymore, but for those who love horseback riding and our equine friends, there are some local ranches.
And for someone who is really into horses, there's a home and business on the market right now that might be of note.
Leghorn Ranch, founded in 2011, is a popular horseback riding outfit, offering camps, tours and a place for birthday parties. It recently appeared on Metro Vancouver's real estate market with a listing price of $3.9 million.
