Hipsters, craft breweries and artisan coffee roasters are clearly where it’s at, as Mount Pleasant East is the most searched-for neighbourhood by Vancouver home hunters, a new infographic by property website REW reveals.

The data analysts at REW found that Vancouver property seekers on their portal have deep pockets (or high aspirations), with the most popular home search in the city a two-bedroom condo in the $1.25-1.5 million range.
The graphic also looks at Vancouver home sales and listings in the first six months of the year, compared with the same period in 2017. Echoing the board’s official stats, it reveals the average condo sale price in the city is considerably higher than a year previously, at a whopping $935,808, but detached home prices have slid one per cent (to a still-astronomical $2,564,938).
