Home is where the heart is, and it’s without a doubt that 2020 has given us a whole new appreciation for our homes as a place of safety, comfort, and care.
Windows are a significant piece of any home renovation project. More than an aesthetic upgrade, windows provide much-needed health, safety, and energy-saving improvements — having a big impact on heating and cooling bills throughout the year — throughout the house.
The opportunity to make a difference in the health and wellbeing of deserving families is one of the core reasons why Centra Windows runs the Centra Cares Home Renovation contest every year, generously giving one B.C. family in need a full house of brand new windows, worth up to $15,000.
2019’s Home Renovation contest was the most successful to date, with the Centra Cares Foundation receiving over 500 nominations throughout B.C.
This resulted in a dream coming true for the Dunsmores with a windows upgrade that uplifted their house in Surrey — their family’s loving home for over 35 years.
For the fourth consecutive year, Centra Cares will reward a local family and make their house feel like a home.
From now until September 4th, you can nominate a family you feel is deserving of this life-changing home renovation — it could be your family member, your friend, your neighbour, or even yourself.
